Foot Pedal

Turn a foot pedal into the controller of your game. Players stamp on the pedal to start a round, react, stop, steer or jump, so the game can be played without touching the screen. It works with any game button or screen that can be given a key, such as Lights Out, Stop On Target, Perfect Alignment, Lane Runner and the Runner Style Game.

How the Foot Pedal Works

01

Step up to the Pedal

Players stand at the screen, with the foot pedal on the floor in front of them.

02

Step on It to Start

A press on the pedal starts the round, exactly like tapping the start button. Games that start by themselves open with a countdown instead.

03

Play With the Foot

Players stamp on the pedal to react, stop, steer or jump, depending on the game. Each press does exactly what a tap would.

04

Continue the Journey

The result shows at the end of the round. Players can join a leaderboard, unlock a reward or play again, depending on the campaign setup.

What You Can Create

Reaction challengeIn Lights Out, players stamp on the pedal the instant the lights go out, and their reaction time is measured in milliseconds.
Stop on targetIn Stop On Target, one press starts the round and the next press stops the moving mark.
Line it upIn Perfect Alignment, one press starts the round and the next press freezes the moving copies.
Jump and collectIn the Runner Style Game, each stamp makes the runner jump to clear obstacles and collect items.
Steer with two pedalsIn Lane Runner, each arrow takes its own key, so two pedals steer the vehicle left and right, one lane per press.
Press any buttonA pedal can also press Submit on a form or quiz, start a print or trigger a reward download.

What the Foot Pedal Can Do for Your Campaign

01

Hands-Free Play

Players control the game with their feet instead of tapping a screen, which sets the booth apart.

02

Closer to the Real Thing

A stamp on a pedal feels like a driver’s start, a natural fit for motoring and sports brands.

03

Instantly Understood

One pedal and one action, so players know what to do the moment they step up.

04

Quick Rounds, More Players

In reaction games each round takes only a few seconds, so the queue keeps moving and players step on the pedal again to beat their time.

05

Works With the Games You Know

Any game button or screen that can be given a key responds to the pedal, from reaction games to runners.
