Lane Runner

A three-lane runner where the road rushes towards the player and one press moves one lane. Collect what carries points and dodge the obstacles, in a fixed-time Time Attack or a lives-based Survival that speeds up as it goes. The vehicle, collectibles and obstacles are all campaign artwork, with scores ranked on a leaderboard.

How the Lane Runner works

01

Start the round

A 3, 2, 1 countdown runs over a still picture of the road, with the vehicle waiting in the middle lane.

02

Steer the lanes

The road runs towards the user and one press moves the vehicle one lane, using the on-screen arrows, either half of the screen or assigned keys.

03

Collect and dodge

Collecting an item adds its points. Hitting an obstacle costs a life in Survival, or points in Time Attack, where the score never drops below zero.

04

Continue the journey

When the clock runs out or the last life is gone, the final score is shown. Users can join the leaderboard, unlock a reward or play again, depending on the campaign setup.
